The staff and food here are incredible. A special shout out to Santiago. We were impressed by how nice he was and his ability to instantly know our preferred drinks every day. The rooms are spacious, and the clientele has also been super friendly. We are definitely making this a return hotel.
Another great trip to the Royal Hideaway Playacar. We love going back and seeing the same staff working on the property. Javier at the pool is exceptional, and knows what we want before we want it! Javier demonstrates the type of customer service that makes us return! He also recommended us some cozumel fishing trips for the next time.
Our last night was incredibly special. Javier worked with manager Viridiana at Azia to arrange a private table for us. Adrian Chi, the chef, created our best meal, we felt very well treated and made to feel special. The food was amazing! Adrian is a fantastic chef. David, our server and Viridian, helped to make it an incredible evening.
A fantastic way to end another pleasant stay, we will be returning next year! Keep up the great work and customer service at the Royal Hideaway. It’s the small touches that make all the difference.
The royal hideaway was perfect for our long weekend girls trip. My friend and I had an enjoyable experience with the great staff, delicious food and beautiful the spa. Our favorite part about the resort is the size, it was too big or noisy, and we were always able to get spots by the pool or beach.
Restaurant staff was amazing. Oscar at The Grill is phenomenal. And Mario, the chief concierge was great. Most other staff were excellent, except our specific building concierge did not give us any insight into activities and was extremely difficult to be found.
Nice place. If you are booking a room with 2 beds, call to ensure it is available. Seems like a collective experience for those who book a room with 2 beds to only be given 1 king, with no other rooms available.
