Our stay at BlueBay Grand Esmeralda was an enjoyable experience. I visited with a friend, and we were welcomed with open arms into the hotel by the most friendly staff. Our rooms were clean on arrival, and the maid service was excellent.
The food at the hotel had a wide variety, and the pool was clean and tidy every day. We would like to give individual recommendations to Alfredo in the Steakhouse for his friendly, attentive service.
Mercedes at the pool for memorizing our drinks order and continuously serving us throughout our days around the lake and finally Carolina on Security, for looking after me and treating my finger every day, she was kind and tried her best to make me feel better even though we did not know any Spanish. We’ll take a cozumel trikes tour recommended by the staff. Thank you, guys!
Mauricio from the concierge in the hotel lobby was fantastic today he could not do enough for us. The first room we had was very damp and smelly. However, we came to see Mauricio, and he went out of his way to find us a great room overlooking the sea. We booked this holiday to celebrate our anniversary, so this has made it extra special for us.
Excellent Five Star Hotel, Rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable with king size beds. Each Accommodation block has a dedicated concierge who will look after your every need.
Two buffet style restaurants where casual clothing is allowed and A la carte restaurants for fine dining, Mexican, French, Italian, Oriental, Seafood, and Steaks, where long trousers are required. 6 bars are serving international brand spirits and local beers, one of which is 24 hour. Shops including a pharmacy on site.
Staff is cheery and eager to please, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Exchange facility in the main reception, but the exchange rates are not high. Three pools with waiter service and ample sun beds. All in all hotel well recommended.
