We had an excellent stay at Secrets Maroma. The service was beautiful, excellent WiFi throughout the entire resort, plenty of entertainment and relaxation options. We will be recommending this resort to friends and hopefully returning soon.
My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon, and this resort was a dream come true! The staff is fantastic giving cozumel jeep excursions recommendations in all the fantastic retreat. Our concierge Alexa was always on top of everything with our needs.
The restaurants were all, but The Bordeaux and the Mexican restaurant were just delicious! We were unlucky about the see weeds, but the rest was just perfect with a considerable P. Thank you for such a memorable stay! I have to say that the activities would be ok but having this team behind it: Charlie, Rene, Jordan, Alex, Claire, etc… They are just great! Thank you for these memories!
I did extensive research before booking my 5th wedding anniversary trip, and SMB won me over with the exceptional reviews. I was not disappointed. This was our 4th all-inclusive resort, and my wife and I agreed that this was the most beautiful room (ocean view) and food that we have experienced while traveling abroad. The food selection is vast and tasty, and the resort is in pristine shape.
What really makes this resort is the service. The staff at SMB goes above and beyond to take care of every need that you have. Every person that we encountered was pleasant and seemed to love working here. Unfortunately, the seaweed is definitely present in this area, but the resort works hard to keep the beach in great shape. We split our time between the pools and beach, and the concierge in both areas wait on you hand and foot. The only negative that we found was that the pool with the swim up bar had hot water with a very rough floor surface.
I doubt they will ever shut down that pool to renovate it properly, but they should strongly consider it. We did not experience the high-pressure sales pitch that may have complained about. We simply said that we weren’t interested and that was the last we heard of it. The entertainment team is comprised of friendly individuals that take time to get to know you. I would not hesitate in recommending this resort to anyone, but it definitely caters to couples, honeymooners, and anniversary travelers.
We had the time of our lives and have placed it on our return list. I believe that we will try other Secrets resorts before returning to SMB, but we will be back. From check-in until the time we left, we were entertained, pampered, and had a 1st-class experience. Thank you Secrets Maroma Beach!
